What’s the value of an “employer brand maturity model?” (Feel free to read that in a sarcastic tone)
Employer brand can take so many shapes and involve so many projects. It can feel daunting to know what’s worth spending time (and 💰) on. What projects are worth pursuing when you’re just getting started? What’s not useful as your employer brand starts to be seen and appreciated by leadership?
So if you think about employer branding making fairly predictable patterns (and let’s be honest, so little in employer branding can be classified as “predictable” so let’s take advantage where we can), knowing those patterns gives you an advantage: It gives you guidance and perspective, telling you what to build, what to worry about, and where your opportunities lie.
