Can the Talent Leader and the CFO be BFFs????
Do you get nervous around the CFO?
It’s not a crazy question. They understand really complex math stuff, has the CEO’s ear, dresses really well, and decides who gets paid.
Yes, I’m painting with an cartoon-sized brush here. But still, you might get a little intimidated.
And that’s not good for you. If you agree that TA is the engine driving business growth, you need to let the CFO know that. But that isn’t as simple as baking them a cake that says, “Every $ this company makes was generated by someone we helped hire!” in frosting.
Delicious, but… a tad aggressive, perhaps.
